Icon of Foam: The Fossil Heads to Del Mar

I’m so honoured to be named the 2026 Icon of Foam at The Boardroom Show this year. It means a lot to be there around all my best friend in the surf industry, people who have helped me enormously throughout the years, crew I’ve worked with forever, it’s an amazing feeling.

It’s just a couple days away so if you haven’t heard yet, on October 10 and 11 at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, eight of the best shapers will recreate my boards while shaping off the blank by hand, full knockout style. I get to judge them, so I'd better be nice…..mwahaha.
