MODEL OVERVIEW
DESIGN
WAVE RANGE
6 - 80ft
Fin placement, angle, stiffness, size and foil all matter at these speeds. Construction runs from multilayer fibreglass to carbon and kevlar.
FIN SETUP
Thruster with 80/20 foil fins.
Tow surfers in the biggest, heaviest waves.
BOTTOM CONTOUR
A substantial ¾″ concave runs the length of the board. That means less wetted surface (think catamaran versus mono-hull) and a fast, straight centre line, with the turning curve on the rail line.

BEST FOR
“This is the best tow board in the world”
— Ross Clarke-Jones
-
These boards are designed for those chasing the biggest, heaviest waves in the world. Anything from 6 to 80ft, make sure you bring an extra pair of underwear!
-
MC tow boards use either a thruster or quad setup with 80/20 foil fins. At tow speeds the placement, angle, stiffness, size and foil of each fin all matter.
-
These boards have been tested in some of the heaviest conditions in the world, with a lot at stake. The full length concave means less wetted surface area, like a catamaran compared with a monohull. Construction has progressed from multilayered fibreglass hulls through carbon and kevlar to the highest grade carbon available, for a board that is very stiff but keeps its memory and is made for speed.
-
MC tow boards are generally around 5’9-6’0. Every tow board is built to the surfer and the waves, so get in touch with MC and Maurice will work through it with you.
