The Vee Con IV brings together more than 30 years of Maurice’s work with Reverse Vee, deep concaves and performance surfboard design. Lower entry rocker creates speed and easy entry, while the tail rocker, fluted flyers and MC swallow tail give you the curve to turn hard when you step back.

“I have been blessed to work with Ross Clarke-Jones as my lunatic test pilot.”
— Maurice Cole
-
It is designed for waves from 6 to 30ft, at speeds a paddle board cannot handle.
-
The RCJ Tow uses 80/20 foil fins. At tow speeds the placement, angle, stiffness, size and foil of each fin all matter, so the setup is worked out with Maurice for each board.
-
It comes directly out of years of testing with Ross Clarke-Jones in very large surf. The full length concave means less wetted surface area, like a catamaran compared with a monohull, and the highest grade carbon construction makes the board very stiff while keeping its memory.
-
These boards are generally around 5'11" x 16 1/4" x 1 3/4". Every tow board is built to the surfer and the waves, so get in touch with MC and Maurice will work through it with you.
