The Protow comes straight out of Maurice's tow board development. A deep concave and a sharp rail give it speed, and that rail holds through the most critical bottom turn. Extra thickness sits under the chest behind a flat deck and chined rail, so it feels thin under your arm and paddles like a longer board.

The Protow is designed for waves from 2 to 8ft. It handles from head high to as big as you can catch.

Maurice Protow can be ridden in a Thruster or as Quad with a Five-Fin Setup.

A deep concave and a sharp rail used to mean a board that only went fast in a straight line. The Protow carves at that speed. A 1/4" vee in the nose deflects chop and reduces wind lift, the concave runs at 3/8", and a 1/2" vee off the tail adds grip and releases at high speed.
